NDMC Provide Free JEE and NEET Coaching

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is taking a significant step to empower meritorious students by inviting quotation bids from reputed coaching centres. The aim is to provide Free JEE and NEET Coaching, especially for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and NEET exams to deserving students attending NDMC schools.

Coaching Features

As part of this initiative, the coaching partner selected by NDMC will offer comprehensive support to the enrolled students. This includes up-to-date study and test materials, doubt-clearing sessions, All-India level test papers, and access to online study materials. Additionally, students will have the benefit of recorded topic-wise lectures and videos.

Enrollment Plan

The council plans to enroll approximately 100 students in the first year, with around 50 students dedicated to JEE Main coaching and another 50 for NEET UG classes. Subsequently, the number of enrolled students is expected to increase in the following years.

Screening Process for Free JEE and NEET Coaching

To ensure the selection of deserving candidates, the coaching centre will conduct a screening test. This test will be the determining factor for students to qualify for free JEE and NEET assistance. Importantly, there will be no distinction between students selected through this scheme and those enrolled directly.

Coaching Institute Requirements

The NDMC has laid out specific conditions for coaching institutes submitting bids. The coaching institute must have at least one operational centre in Delhi, preferably around the NDMC area. Furthermore, the institute should possess all necessary infrastructure, including premises and a library.

Bid Invitation

The council has initiated the bidding process to identify coaching institutes willing to take up the responsibility of providing quality coaching to NDMC school students. The motive behind this initiative is to create a level playing field for all meritorious students, ensuring they have access to the best resources for their exam preparation.

Council’s Vision

The primary vision behind this initiative is to impart two years of integrated coaching to Class 11 students from NDMC or Navyug Schools. The first batch of students, around 100 in number, will commence their integrated course in the academic year 2024-25. This number is expected to double in the subsequent academic years, ensuring an increasing number of students benefit from this program.

Coaching Institute’s Role

Once selected through the bidding process, the coaching institute will play a crucial role in shaping the academic journey of these students. The institute is responsible for providing study materials, conducting mock tests, and organizing psychology sessions led by reputable psychologists.
